Norton Commons was the perfect setting for Kenia + Carlos. The charming homes, quiet streets, and soft evening light set a relaxed and romantic tone for the evening. As the sun dipped low, it wrapped the couple in a golden glow that added something truly special to every photo.

“It Felt So Natural”

At the beginning of every session, I usually tell my couples it’s totally normal to take about 20 minutes to settle in and feel comfortable in front of the camera. But Carlos surprised me with the sweetest comment:

“You told us at the beginning that it’s normal for it to take about 20 minutes to warm up and feel comfortable. But it really only took about 30 seconds, it felt so natural!”

And truly, it showed. From the very start, Kenia + Carlos laughed together, snuggled in close, and moved with an ease that made my job so joyful.

A Celebration Long in the Making

While this was an “engagement session,” Kenia + Carlos have actually been legally married for a while now. But this summer, they’re heading to Mexico for a religious ceremony and a long-awaited celebration with family and friends. What a beautiful way to honor their love and heritage!
