After two rain delays and a very questionable forecast the morning of, I could not be more grateful for Mary Margaret and Jason’s flexibility—and patience—for their Gratz Park engagement session! The third time really was the charm, because the evening of our rescheduled engagement session in Lexington turned out absolutely perfect.
The skies cleared just in time, the breeze rolled in, and we were blessed with a golden hour glow that made everything feel magical. It was the kind of weather you dream about for a spring session: a breezy 70 degrees, soft sunlight filtering through the trees, and historic architecture all around us in Gratz Park and downtown Lexington.
Mary Margaret + Jason were so sweet together—effortlessly kind and joyful. Watching the way they interacted, smiled at each other, and laughed as we strolled through the streets made my job easy. Gratz Park, with its charming brick sidewalks, iron fences, and centuries-old trees, made the perfect backdrop for their love story.
There’s something so timeless about Lexington’s historic district, and these two fit right into it. Their session felt calm, classic, and joyful—just like them. I’m so excited to see these two again for their July wedding at the beautiful Duncan Memorial Chapel. I just know it’s going to be a day full of love, joy, and a few happy tears!
I’d be honored to be considered to document your special day. Reach out here and submit an inquiry form to get the conversation started! I can’t wait to chat about your vision.
