Recently, I had the privilege of participating in a styled shoot at the enchanting Laurel Court in Cincinnati, and it was nothing short of magical.

Welcoming a newborn into the family is a precious and fleeting moment in life. As parents, we cherish every tiny detail of our little one’s early days, knowing that they grow and change in the blink of an eye. Capturing these precious moments through newborn photography allows us to freeze time and create timeless memories that we can cherish for a lifetime. Lauren + Scott’s Louisville in-home newborn session was just SO stinkin’ sweet and my hope is that they can pass these photographs down to future grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I met Marisa + Johnny at Beckley Creek Park just in time for golden hour to start their maternity session, and let me go ahead and spoil the ending for you – it was BEAUTIFUL. I had so much fun with these two on this Sunday evening, and I’m so excited to capture even more photos of their precious baby girl coming soon.

Recently, I had the privilege of documenting such a momentous occasion during a Louisville in-home newborn session with Holly + John’s loving family of four.

There’s something magical about love blooming amidst the vibrant colors and fragrant scents of a botanical garden. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing such enchantment during Hank + Miranda’s engagement session at Louisville’s Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Nestled along the banks of the Ohio River, we started at the Botanical Gardens and then moved to Waterfront Park for a walk along the river to end our time together – and it was beautiful!

I met Grace + Gabriel on a Tuesday evening and had so much fun with these two! I loved the little looks they would give each other and the genuine laughter that flowed. Grace is one of my oldest friends and I was SO happy to see her. One of the things that I love most about this job is that it allows me to connect (or reconnect!) with so many people – and there’s something beautiful about that. On this evening we met in Norton Commons for their couples session, and what a beautiful location!

I was so excited when Riley + Nate contacted me about family photos and a pregnancy announcement session. Family photos are a special time anyway, but when also celebrating a new beginning, and taking pictures to share that news to the world – family photos take on a whole new level of excitement. Riley, Nate, and their little girl Sloan could not have been more fun to work with, and oh my goodness their session was so sweet!

Bryan + Blair’s engagement session was absolutely GORGEOUS. They chose to wait until spring for their session and I’m so glad they did! As winter bids its final farewell and nature awakens from its slumber, there’s no better time to celebrate love in all its splendor than the vibrant season of spring. With blossoms in full bloom and the air filled with the sweet scent of flowers, it’s the perfect backdrop for an enchanting engagement session. And what better place to capture this magical moment than amidst the timeless beauty of Louisville’s St. James Court?
