A Love Story Rooted in Louisville
Tommy + Haley’s October engagement session at Saint James Court couldn’t have been more meaningful. These two first met while attending the University of Louisville, just blocks away from where we spent the afternoon together. Returning to this historic neighborhood—known for its tree-lined streets and beautiful Victorian architecture—was like taking a stroll through the early chapters of their love story.
Peak Fall Colors and Playful Energy
We truly hit the peak of fall color for their session! The golden leaves and warm tones framed Tommy + Haley perfectly, creating such a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Even though the weather was a little chilly and the mist came and went, these two never stopped smiling. Their laughter was contagious, and their playful banter made capturing their connection effortless. They were completely themselves—joking, teasing, and holding each other close to stay warm.
A Slice of Nostalgia
After wrapping up at Saint James Court, we made our way to Spinelli’s, a local pizza spot that holds a special place in their hearts. It’s where Tommy + Haley had their first date, and ever since, they’ve made it a tradition to come back every year on their anniversary. Sharing a slice together during their engagement session was such a perfect, personal touch—it told their story in the most authentic way.
Looking Ahead to “I Do”
I’m already counting down the days until their wedding next August at The Olmsted! It’s going to be such a beautiful celebration—and yes, they’ll be keeping their Spinelli’s tradition alive with a late-night pizza delivery for their guests. I can’t wait to capture the next chapter of their journey together.
